The LMS CASH module works with the LMS property management system to provide instant online credit card approval combined with express check-in. With the swipe of a credit card, the LMS CASH module obtains an estimated folio credit approval and then locates the guest’s reservation, assigns the room and prints the registration card. If a guest’s folio exceeds the original credit authorization, the LMS CASH module automatically seeks additional credit approval, thus reducing potential losses to the property. The LMS Central Reservations module, in conjunction with the LMS property management system, can be used across multiple databases without any limit on the number of rooms or number of properties that can run through the software. If you are using a third-party software solution, data from selected files is passed to that software and then exploded into a common database on a real-time basis. The LMS Condo Accounting module is an integrated application within the LMS suite of products. The LMS Condo Accounting application was designed to quickly and easily calculate the revenues, expenses and profit sharing between condo owners and the management company. Users will have the same functionality as that of the LMS Accounts Receivable module, such as direct billing owners for charges they accumulate during their stay, and easily charging users other expenses related to owning the condo unit. The user can access a number of reports to easily keep track of charges and credits to the condo owners. The basis for the owner rental program revenue distribution is the automatic calculation of the appropriate deductions and commission percentage(s) for the management company and making the appropriate entries in the Condo Accounting system. The transfer of rental revenue and the automatic calculation of the distribution occur during the night audit. Also, a comprehensive rotation program is available that allows weighting based on guest and accommodation type, and to accumulate rotation values based on revenue and/or nights associated to reservations in the units for equal assignment of units and more evenly distributed revenue amongst owners. Owner statements, check processing and 1099 form generation are also available within the application. The LMS ResNet module is a Web-based real-time reservation system that allows Internet users to book reservations directly into the LMS property management system. Using the system, a customer can check room availability, make a reservation using any rate in the system, pay for a room with a credit card and receive an e-mail confirmation. The LMS ResNet module presents an uncomplicated appearance to the Internet user, masking complex transactions and streamlining the entire reservation process. Unlike many online reservation systems that require guests to e-mail a request for a room and hotel staff to complete the actual reservation process, the LMS ResNet module requires no staffing. Instead, all booking is completed through the hotel’s own computer. Upon check-in, front desk personnel will see a message that the guest booked over the Internet. The system offers a wide variety of features and functionality such as choice of ticket assignment, configurable controls and options, file maintenance and listings, inventory control, online select panels, user-defined ticket forms and numerous method-of-payment types. The LMS ShowGate module gives your property the option of blocking and releasing seats, selling best available seats or allowing customers to choose individual seats from a chart. The LMS Guest eMarketing (GeM) solution is designed to provide advanced functionality for HTML-based guest correspondence, advertising and marketing campaigns, and customer surveys-all with built-in statistical tracking stored for user analysis. Hotel staff members access the GeM solution via the eMarketing server control, and set parameters for confirmation emails or marketing campaign blasts based on a schedule preset. The eMarketing internal server control continuously reviews reservations in LMS that meet user-defined parameters and sends emails accordingly to property clients. An eMarketing external server records hits or views generated by guests opening emails or clicking embedded links. The external server also stores reporting statistics for emails sent out from the property.
